I can't believe our little baby Jensen Drew is 5 already! When I first became a mommy, kids who were 5 seemed so grown up and it seemed so far away. Now he's a big boy at 47in tall (90th percentile) and 46lbs (75th percentile) and he's all arms and legs with not a squishy part on him which is hard to believe since he was such a chubby baby. He has tons of energy and he's very smart. He's doing very well in public Pre-K and can read 3 letter words easily.
Jensen got to bring a special snack to school on his birthday and I planned on going to get some cupcakes or cookies at the grocery store but Jensen requested to make some cupcakes. Crap I have to be domestic? :) He specified scary Halloween decorations but they were all sold out by the time we made them so we did mini cupcakes with sprinkles instead.
Jensen's birthday was on a Sat this year so we got to have his party on his actual birthday. We invited all his friends and family to the YMCA where they have a party room and a really fun splash pad for the kids. He chose a Tom and Jerry theme and we put whoopie cushions in the favor bags which were a huge hit. Jeff's 81 year old Grandma Cassie even took one so she could play a prank on her sister. That really made me laugh!!

He got some cool presents and really enjoyed opening them up. He got some games, a dinosaur, transformers, Hex bugs, nerf guns, Wipeout game for Wii and a lot more

After cake and presents the kids went out to swim. I didn't even see Jensen most of the time because he was so busy having fun with his friends. Plus, I was chasing little brother Jorden who loves the water and has no fear. Poor baby slipped and fell on the back of his head so everyone was really worried about him for a while. He was fine though and only had a small bruise
