Awww Brothers!

Came home and found these two cuties

This makes me so proud seeing my boys sitting at the library enjoying a book on his own

I planted sweet potato vine in my flower bed so it would be pretty and cover the ground between my plants. Well, I was shocked when I went to pull it up after it got cold and there were actual sweet potatoes growing under the ground. Don't know why it hadn't occured to me that this would happen LOL

I helped organize a neighborhood block party in the cul de sac with a chili cook off and pumpkin decorating contest. It was a good turnout with 7 different chilis and 5 cute pumpkins. My boys painted the Angry Bird ones with Mimi and one of them one a prize along with the Darth Vader one

Jorden has gotten into Spiderman recently and likes to wear his costume and boot he got for his birthday

If I have to get older, I at least like to do something fun and different to celebrate. This year, I decided I wanted to go to a drag queen show called Sunday Gospel Brunch. You eat brunch while two drag queens dressed like church ladies sing hymns and do a comedy show poking fun at all religions. Its not for everyone but my friends and I thought it was hilarious.

Jorden Drake is 3!

Our baby boy turned 3 on October 21st and we can't believe how fast he's growing up! We had a  party for him with friends and family at the YMCA indoor splash pad. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is Jorden's favorite book right now so that was the theme.The cake was super cute and the snacks were all the fruits the caterpillar ate through before becoming a butterfly. Everyone had a blast

Pumpkin Patch 2012

Instead of going to the regular pumpkin patch, this year we decided to go to the Orr Family Farm where they have a lot more to do. We went on Sat 10/20 and it was beautiful 80 degree day. The farm was really crowded though and it took a while to get in but once inside it wasn't too bad. They have a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, train and hayrides, pedal tractors, maze, slides and jumping pillows.

They have these amazing things called jumping pillows that are like a trampoline but better

Jorden's first dentist appt

My big boy is almost 3 and it was time to start thinking about making his first dentist appointment. Jensen had a check up on 10/18 so I planned to ask them about letting Jorden look around and get used to the idea. Well, when we got there, they had an opening and we decided to do it at the same time. We weren't sure if he would let them do anything but he was fantastic and let them clean and floss his teeth with no problem at all.

 

What are they going to do to me?

Doing so great with them using all the tools on him!
