Run Jensen Run!

Jensen likes basketball and he really loves the running part so we signed him up for track through the YMCA. He has had 2 meets so far and he seems to enjoy it even though he comes in almost last. He did very well at the softball throw and placed 4th out of 27 kids. We should have known he'd be good at that since he has been chunking everything since he was 9 months old! He's taller than the other kids and we know he can be faster but he gets so caught up in the fun of running he falls behind. He has a good coach though and is improving after two practices. They do some really fun running games during practice and he loves it

At his meet last weekend, Jensen had Grandma and Grandpa, Mimi and our old neighbors there to watch. Mimi took some great pictures of him doing the long jump

He has one more track meet then he starts basketball in the summer again.
