Halloween 2011

We had such a good October with lots of Halloween fun. Jensen decided in August that he wanted to be the black angry bird from from the iphone app he plays all the time. I ordered the costume online in mid-Sept but they were already sold out so I decided I would try to make it myself which is hilarious if you know me! Grandma got Julia, my niece, a Minnie Mouse costume so I thought it would be precious to have Jorden be Mickey. I got the material and my mom came over to help me make the angry bird cotume and it turned out fantastic and Jensen was thrilled.

Our MOMS Club had a little Halloween party and all the kids looked so adorable.

On Halloween we decided to stay in our neighborhood to trick or treat instead of going to the grandparents' houses. Before we started, the Outon boys from across the street came over to say hi

The girls came over to go trick or treating with us. Jenna and Jilllian were two different witches and Julia ended up wearing a unicorn costume that was warmer than Minnie

We brought Jamie's wagon so the littles could ride between houses
and Jorden especially loved getting in and out of it
My dad went to watch the Steelers football came and they had a costume
contest so he dressed as one of the players

It was a really warm evening and we stayed out quite a while so each kid got about two buckets full of candy. I got addicted to all the chocolate and almost had withdawls when it was gone

Jorden was so precious saying "trick or treat." At first he was saying it after he got the candy but he finally figured it out

Jorden is 2!

We can't believe our little baby boy is 2 years old already. He is such a sweet, funny boy and so very smart. He talks like a 4 year old and everywhere we go people can't believe how much he says. On his birthday on 10/21 I took him for lunch at Chuck E. Cheese and he got to open presents from us at home after Jensen's football practice. On the Sunday after, we had a birthday party at McDonald's and he had a great time playing. He got an r/c digger, a tricycle, some rain boots, tools, cars and lots of fun stuff

Big 2yr old birthday boy! He wanted to wear his OU jersey

Jorden wanted nothing to do with blowing out candles

We decorated with Elmo stuff since Jorden likes him

Pumpkin Patch 2011

It was pumpkin patch time again and we really enjoy going every year as a family. Jeff has off evey Monday now and it was beautiful weather on 10/24. Plus, Jorden was old enough this year to have more fun. Our friend and neighbor across the street had an emergency so her youngest boy Ryan came with us. He and Jensen are great friends and are even in the same class at school.
It's neat to see how much they have grown when they stand here every year

They love the hay slides

Zoo behind the scenes 2011

For the 4th year we were invited to go on a behind the scenes tour at the OKC Zoo. This time was especially exciting since we had a new baby elephant named Malee born earlier this year and they have a huge new home. We got to go inside their huge barn and get up close to them. It was so amazing and baby Malee is so cute you just want to hug her

This wasn't part of the tour but I got a good shot of the beaver as we walked by
Check out those teeth!

We also got to feed the grizzly bears again. It's hard getting good pictures of them because of the cages but they are really sweet, funny animals
Is there a bear behind me?

Totally Tubular 80's party

Jeff's cousin Shonn and his wife Christy threw an 80's party and of course I couldn't resist getting dressed up. I was surpised by how quickly I remember how to make my hair so big! It was OU football night so Jeff didn't go with me but I had a blast hanging out with his cousins. I was really impressed by everyone's costumes
cousin Kim and her Rubiks Cube hubby Dan. This was awesome
