We have a visitor- cousin Evan is here!

Evan is my dad's sister Patty's youngest son and he was driving thru OK on the way home to Indiana from TX

I had the idea to show Evan around downtown OKC by riding Segways. I had been wanting to
rent one for a long time so it was a perfect time to do it

We had the segways for an hour and we went all over downtown. It was a blast!

My dad needed to go to the ATM so we stopped at one. It was funny driving thru on a Segway

I can't wait to do this again

Halloween 2013

Jensen dressed as a character called Steve from the online game minecraft and his friend Spencer was the creeper.
Jorden was very sick with a high fever so he didn't get to go trick or treating

I organized a costume parade so all the neighborhood kids met to show off their costumes

This was my real costume for the adult parties I went to. I was an 80's school picture day.
I painted a poster board and wore a tacky outfit. Jamie added the "package A" and it was perfect
I even had fake braces for a super nerdy effect

Jorden's 4th Birthday

Jorden chose to have his 4th birthday party at Bart Conner gymnastics and he had a blast with his friends. He wanted Power Rangers for the theme and we just happened to schedule it on my birthday. Since my friend Kim moved to TX, she and her daughter Ellie were able to come and have fun too

New door wreath made by Jamie for my birthday

We went to family camp for the first time with scouts at Camp George Thomas
It was fun during the day but that night it got down to freezing so we earned our polar bear badge.

We stayed pretty warm in our sleeping bags but I HATED sleeping on the ground

We only stayed one night since Jorden got really sick and had to come home

Since we have had several close calls with tornadoes and a storm shelter saved my sisters life
we finally had one installed on Jorden's birthday

It took them about 7 hours to install our hidey hole then the boys and our neighbors tried it out the next day

I helped Jamie work her booth at the Affair of the Heart again. It was really busy

We got a new fur niece named Littles and she got to take a ride in the car to our house

My baby sister turned 30 so I made her a sucker bouquet



We went to eat at Red Lobster to celebrate Carrie turning 30. Makes me feel OLD!

Kim lives about 3hrs away now so the boys and I went down to stay with her for a night

We went to a great park and it was beautiful weather

Thanks to my mom we finally got a new shed and they brought it on a semi
and unloaded it with a forklift

The problem was there is not enough space between houses so we couldn't just put it
in the backyard. We had to take it apart and reassemble it which was a pain but worth it

Both of our dads came over to help and it went pretty fast

 

Finished shed. It's so nice to have more storage and it looks great
