We got together a few weeks ago to celebrate Uncle Jimmy's 50th birthday. While we were there I finally remembered to do the 4 generation photo I have been wanting to get.
Great-Grandma Cassie, Grandpa Jerry, Jeff and Jensen Jones
We tried out a new McDonald's playland on NW Expressway with the girls and by coincidence Jailey, the daughter of our very good friends, was there with her cousin. The cousin lives in Louisiana and we live in Edmond and it was really freaky how we ended up at that particular McD's (which was not close to either of us) on the same day. The kids had a great time playing together
Jailey, Jenna, Jensen, Jillian......can we add one more J name to the mix or what?!
We love using our pass for the OKC Zoo and it was nice on Friday so Jensen and I met our friends there. I really thought Jensen would be afraid of the huge loud dinosaurs that are on display right now but he loved it and I couldn't get him out of there. They are really neat since they roar and move around. You can see in this pic how tall the t-rex is.

Well I spoke too soon about the soccer. Jensen had a game on Sat and refused to play. I guess he just wasn't in the mood. It was super windy though so we felt like we were getting beat up the whole time. One little girl was close to the goal and it blew over on her catching her like a fish in a net! I felt bad for her but couldn't help but laugh too!

Last Thursday while Jensen was at school we came up with the plan that I would rent this machine from Home Depot that scrapes up linoleum. Well, that didn't work because the thing was too heavy for me to get in and out of the jeep by myself. So, Jeff and his friend Scott went to get it on Sun and that thing was great. It only took about 2hrs to scrape all that yucky stuff up and it got most of the adhesive up too. We still need to clean the floor and get some more of the stickiness up before we lay tile but its a huge step

Jeff and I had a much needed date night on Sat night. We went to see the Lion King broadway show at the Civic Center. They didn't allow pictures but it was a really great show. The costumes and set design were amazing how they made an animated film come to life. I highly recommend anyone going to see it. Maybe not with really small kids though because even though it is from a kids movie it was 2hrs 45mins long and I don't know if they would like it as much as the movie.
